Someone recently asked me if they could upgrade their Platinum Plus to the ARM CPU.
The answer is generally yes, but if your controllers are more than a few years old, please see the hardware requirements below.  You need to check and see if everything is compatible.

An upgrade requires the following hardware:

 • Switch Cards, Version 1.5

 • Alarm Card, Version 1.7

 • Digital Input Card, Version 2.3

 • Analog Input Card, Version 1.7

 • Analog Output Card, Version 3.0
Hardware version numbers  can be found printed on the cards themselves.

I have upgraded quite a number of Platinum Plus XA CPU's to the ARM CPU. We have made sure of the version numbers listed above, however we have experienced trouble with the key pads. Is there a version of key pads or date stamp that work properly? I had a new key pad in stock that showed the same version number as the original, but I put it in anyways and now it works just fine.

No I have not heard of this Jake, but I will look in to it.  But FYI, unfortunately, the old style keypad is end of life.  We can no longer get them.  This means if they need a keypad they will need to replace the keypad and the screen to the new style as a set.  Let me know if you have any questions.
